A Miximal

For reasons too complicated to explain, but if you want to know, go
HERE
I have invented a cross between a Polar Bear and a Bumble Bee which is, of course, called a BearBum. This is what it looks like!

IF Entangled

Illustration Friday's word was "entangled" so I doodled this. Now I look at it I can see a lady having a bubble bath but that's just me being fanciful. I enjoyed drawing it though, very theraputic!

SomComDif 27/11

This week's challenge was Red and Green with Snowman. I bought a Vintage Graphics CD about four years ago and used it a lot when I first had it but it has been neglected for other things so I was delighted to find this image, even though it may be dangerously close to cute. Background paper and a bit of green ribbon (magazine freebies) and there you go!

SomComDif 20/11

This week's challenge was snowflakes using the colours blue and white. I'd been playing around with papers for my Christmas cards this afternoon (if you'd like to see a couple click on this Link ) so I used a few of my scraps and a snowflake punch and a square pnch to produce my offering. It hasn't scanned very well so you can't see the sparkle bits, never mind

Christmas cards

I've had a pleasant afternoon trying out some ideas for this years Christmas cards and I'm rather pleased with the results. They are a variation on the idea of iris folding - here's a couple, I'm going to do more. I just love playing around with all the different textures and colours and I found a pair of edging scissors that make passable rooflines for the Bethlehem scenes

SomComDiff Halloween

I'm not happy about the way kids "celebrate" Halloween. I shall be celebrating All Souls day tomorrow but as we are on the internet here's an inchie web site!

IF Skinny

Here is my drawing of a glamorous but skinny model hiding behind a tree

IF - Flying

Actually the inchie I did for Something Completely Different on Friday would have suited this theme too so have a look at that if you have time. This is just a doodle really

SomComDiff Challenge 09/10 - Birds

We are still with the inchies this week, theme "Birds" I hope this isn't cheating, but the apperture is an inch square. The technique is similar to iris folding in that folded paper is layered behind an apperture. I had several goes at cutting the bird to go on top. If you carry on with these formats I shall have to get my glasses changed!

Illustration Friday 02/10

This weeks theme is "Germ" so here's my offering of what I think one looks like!

SomComDif 03/10

Not easy trying to do something in a 1" square so I used a couple of fonts from www.dafont.com in the end. The theme was oriental

Illustration Friday 25/09

Yes, I know it's Monday but if I have understood correctly the challenge is issued on a Friday and then you have all week to post. Hope I can get the link to work but here's my offering for "Pattern". I find it very restful drawing and filling in these patterns, even if the result is not so restful

Welcome to my new blog for craft stuff. This weeks Moo card has the theme ABC. Didn't find it easy to think up Something Completely Different but hope you like it.

Hello

OK, I know lots of people like stamping with those cute stamps and I'm not saying I've never made a cute card but here I hope to find people who like to do things a bit darker, or more arty or however you want to describe it. I do like flowery things sometimes but I am going to hunt for people whose tastes are more like mine and put them on my list. If you think you are one of them let me know
